The two 48-meter sister ships have been developed based on in-depth market analysis, which revealed an underexploited segment of the superyacht market; that of owners desiring the ample amenities of a powerboat and the excitement of a modern sailing yacht. To this end the design was placed between the commercially successful motor-sailers and the exhilarating cruiser-racers.

The guiding philosophy of the design was to emphasize the living experience. The yacht’s size was chosen to deliver powerboat luxury through generously portioned and plush living spaces. Materials and construction technology will be of the highest standards, leading to extremely low noise and vibration levels. This design offered another advantage over that of the typical powerboat of this scale, a greatly reduced impact on the environment. The hull shape is more efficient thus lowering emissions while under power, and eliminated emissions while under sail -- the greenest way to travel.

The ambitious goal of this approach is to demonstrate to potential owners the greater advantages in owning a sailing yacht in terms of life experience, entertainment, comfort, and environmental impact. To improve the quality of service on board for both guests and crew, the systems were kept simple and reliable, thus reducing the crew requirements and payroll costs. This was achieved through the use of recent ships technologies, all the while maintaining the highest standard of anti-pollution allowing the boat to receive the RINA Green Star Certification.

To enable the broadest possible use of the boats, they will comply with the RINA Unrestricted Charter Class regulations. This will make these yachts attractive charter prospects.

Currently the first hull is in an advanced stage of construction and in a few months it will be transferred to the fitting out location. In the meantime, the construction of the second hull components has already started, and will proceed faster once the first yacht has left the building area.
