The new One 49' is born from the collaboration between Tripp Design and Cantiere Se.Ri.Gi. The design parameters were set to create a high performance yacht for a double use as a cruiser or racer. A simple sail plan with a jib overlap of 108% jib was chosen for ease of handling when short handed.

Great care has been taken with weight distribution on deck, with a cockpit and a wide aft area for sunbathing. The interior is teak with handcrafted attention to every detail typical of Cantiere Se.Ri.Gi. There is a wide owner's cabin with separate shower forward, a classic dinette with an L shape galley, two guest cabins with bathroom, a sail locker and a wide peak aft with opening aft.
